Why your goals are too realistic (and boring)
The Type C Goal and Acting the Part
Hello friend,
We have covered a lot of ground this week. We deleted the virus codes, crashed through the Terror Barrier, and moved to the Creative Plane. Now, we need to set the GPS.
Most people set Type A Goals. This is doing what you already know how to do. "I'm going to buy a Honda Civic." (And you already drive a Toyota Corolla). Boring. No growth there.
Some set Type B Goals. This is what you think you can do. If you work hard, save money, and get a raise, you can do it. It’s logical. It’s also uninspiring.
I want you to set a Type C Goal.
This is a fantasy. It is something you want, but you have absolutely no idea how to get. It should scare you and excite you at the same time. If your goal doesn't scare you, it’s not big enough.
"I want to build a school in Kenya." "I want to earn a million dollars a month." "I want to write a bestseller."
Do you know how to do it? No. That is the point! You don't need to know how. You just need to know what. The "how" will show up when you start moving.
To achieve this, you must use Praxis. You have to integrate your belief with your behavior. You must act like the person you want to become before the results appear.
You don't wait until you are rich to act generous. You act generous, and that vibration attracts wealth. You don't wait until you are a leader to act confident. You act confident, and people follow.
And finally, you seal this all with Gratitude. Gratitude isn't just saying "thanks." It is the attitude that hooks you up to your source of supply. It keeps you connected to the good in the universe. When you are grateful for what you have, and grateful for what is coming as if it is already here, you open the floodgates.
The more you read my emails, the more success you will have, but only if you take action. The universe loves speed.
It has been a joy sharing these thoughts with you. The power is in you. It always has been.
Reply and tell me: What is your scary, exciting, Type C goal? Put it in writing right now.
To your infinite potential,
