Why success feels like a panic attack
The Terror Barrier (Don't Panic!)
Good morning,
So, we have established that you have a subconscious program (a paradigm) running the show. It’s like the autopilot on a plane. It keeps you flying at a comfortable, familiar altitude.
Now, let's say you decide to fly higher. You want to double your income, start that business, or finally talk to that attractive person at the coffee shop. You move from a "known" result (Bondage) to a "new idea" (Reason).
You get emotionally involved with this new idea. You start to feel it.
And then... BAM.
You hit an invisible brick wall. Your heart races. Your palms sweat. You suddenly remember you need to organize your sock drawer or wash the cat. Doubts flood in like unwanted guests at a dinner party. "Who do I think I am?" "What if I go broke?" "What if they laugh?"
Welcome to The Terror Barrier.
This is the point where most people turn the plane around and fly back to Safetyville. They retreat to the known misery because it’s comfortable. They bounce off the Terror Barrier and go back to Bondage.
But here is what the mystics and the quantum physicists agree on: That fear isn't a stop sign. It is a GPS signal that you are going the right way.
The Terror Barrier happens because you are stepping out of your paradigm. You are vibrating at a new frequency, and your old self is freaking out. It is a chemical reaction in your body caused by the conflict between the old program and the new desire.
You cannot navigate this with logic alone. Logic will tell you to go back to safety. You must crash through that barrier with two things:
Faith: Knowing that the power within you is bigger than the circumstance outside of you.
Understanding: Knowing why you feel fear—it’s just your paradigm dying.
When you push through that wall of fear, you land on the other side in Freedom. And the funny thing? The wall disappears. You look back and wonder what you were so scared of.
The more you read my emails, the more success you will have in recognizing this fear not as a monster, but as a milestone. It means you are growing.
You don't need to be fearless. You just need to be willing to walk through the fog.
Now, to crash through that barrier, you need the right tools. Most people try to build a house using a spoon. You need power tools. You have six mental superpowers that you probably aren't using.
Do you know what they are?
Reply and tell me: What is the "Terror Barrier" that has stopped you in the past—was it starting a business, public speaking, or something else?
