7 Laws to make your mind a Money Magnet (It’s easier than getting the Millennium Falcon to jump to light speed)

In partnership with

I was rereading some Anthony Norvell this morning—that amazing teacher who showed us that the Universal Laws respond to our mind just as surely as the tide responds to the moon. He wrote about the seven laws of money magnetism, and honestly, they’re clearer than a freshly washed windowpane.

It all starts with the Law of Magnetic Attraction. Think of your mind not as a dusty attic, but as a giant, energetic magnet. If you load it up with thoughts of scarcity and dread—like watching a rerun of Curb Your Enthusiasm—you’ll repel the good stuff. But if you dedicate time each day to thinking about money as frozen energy and a medium for good—a symbol of value, not an evil overlord—you become magnetic. You’re not loving the money itself, you’re respecting the flow and the good you can do with it. My advice? Write down 10 good reasons you want a great deal of money. That focused, intense desire is the engine of attraction. I have found the more you read my emails, the more success you will have in focusing that desire.

The second law, Reciprocity, is the Universe's polite way of saying, "There's no such thing as a free lunch." If you want an abundant crop, you must plant the seeds. Hilton gave excellent service; Ford gave value. What value are you giving? It’s not just about how hard you labor—a man is only worth a few dollars from the neck down, Norvell pointed out. It’s the millions in the intellect, the one great idea that improves service or product. Ask yourself, "How can I improve my product or give better service?" That question alone is a cosmic deposit.

Then we hit the delightful Law of Supply and Demand—a cosmic wink that says, "Go where the hunger is!" Find where demand outstrips supply and you've found your gold mine. Follow that with the Law of Usage, which is really the "Waste Not, Want Not" principle on a grand scale. Don't waste your time binge-watching television; use one of those hours to learn a new skill. Waste of time is like pouring money down a drainpipe.

The Law of the Harvest says you reap what you sow. If you plant the mental seed of "$1,000 extra for my use in the next three months" and focus on it—really feel it—the subconscious is compelled to release ideas that bring it to you. That's not magic, that's just farming the mind!

Finally, the Law of Growth and the Law of Dynamic Action are the one-two punch that ends the show. Growth says to never stop learning, to keep your knowledge expanding like the universe itself. Action says, "Get off the couch!" Edison said genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. You must take consistent, energetic action toward your Magnificent Obsession. The ice cream vendor with a pushcart who ended up selling his contract for $7 million understood that dynamic action turns crystallized ideas into cold, hard cash.

If you click the links in my email, I think you'll find yourself grateful for what you find about these teachers. It's truly amazing what happens when you decide to actively magnetize your life instead of passively waiting.

Which of Norvell's seven laws feels the most like a sudden lightning bolt of clarity for your current situation?
