Why you feel scared right before you win
Hey friend,
We are halfway through our mental tune-up. Yesterday, we talked about Imagination, Intuition, and Will. Today, we round out the squad with Memory, Reason, and Perception.
Memory is usually used to look back. We replay our failures like bad reruns. But did you know you can use memory to "remember" your future? You can create a memory of an event that hasn't happened yet, and your subconscious won't know the difference. It is inherently perfect; there is no such thing as a bad memory, only a weak one.
Reason is your ability to think. It allows you to choose your thoughts. You can look at a pile of bills and choose to think "abundance" anyway. That isn’t delusion; that is induction. You are choosing the raw materials for your reality.
And then, my favorite: Perception. This is your point of view. If you look at a problem from the front, it looks like a wall. If you walk around to the side, you might see a door. Perception allows you to "uncrown" negative circumstances. In the cosmic scheme, nothing is "bad" or "good" until you label it.
Now, here is the catch. When you start using these faculties to pursue a Big Goal (a Type C goal—something you have no idea how to pull off), you are going to hit a wall.
We call it the Terror Barrier.
It happens when the new idea (freedom, wealth) hits the old Paradigm (safety, lack) in your subconscious. It creates conflict. Your nervous system goes haywire. You feel fear, doubt, and anxiety. You want to run back to safety.
Most people hit the Terror Barrier and retreat. They say, "Maybe I'm not meant for this."
Wrong. The fear is a signal that you are growing. The Terror Barrier is the border between your comfort zone and your freedom. You have to crash through it. You do that through understanding and faith.
The more you read these emails, the more success you will have in smashing through that barrier. You are building the mental stamina to face the fear and do it anyway.
There is a video in the link below that visualizes this barrier perfectly. You will be grateful you clicked that link because it turns that knot in your stomach into excitement.
Once you crash through, you need to know how the laws of the universe handle the logistics—specifically, the money.
Tomorrow, we talk cold, hard cash. And why you need to stop trading your time for it.
Question for the day:
What is a situation you are facing right now that could use a shift in Perception?
Reply and let me know.
Fearlessly,
P.S. Money is just an echo. Tomorrow, I’ll show you how to shout louder.
