Why lottery winners go broke (and how to avoid it)

The Thermostat in Your Head

Hello again,

Have you ever noticed that you have a financial "set point"?

Maybe you are used to having $5,000 in the bank. If you drop to $2,000, you hustle, you scrape, you work late, and boom—you are back at $5,000.

But here is the spooky part: If you suddenly get a windfall and have $15,000, you will unconsciously find creative ways to get rid of it. The car breaks down. You lend money to a cousin who "promises" to pay you back. You buy a jet ski you don't need.

Soon enough, you are back at $5,000.

This is Cybernetics. It is the science of control and communication. Your self-image acts exactly like a thermostat in your home.

If the thermostat is set to 70 degrees and someone leaves the window open in winter, the furnace kicks on to get it back to 70. If it gets too hot, the AC kicks on to cool it down.

You cannot outperform your self-image.

You can work harder (the furnace), but if your internal thermostat is set to "struggle," your mind will cool your results down to match that setting. You will self-sabotage to get back to the comfort zone of your self-image.

This is why lottery winners go broke. They have a millionaire's bank account but a poverty mindset. The thermostat kicks in, and the money evaporates.

To change your life, you don't just need a new strategy; you need to reset the dial. You need to see yourself as the person who is comfortable with wealth, who expects success, and who feels weird when things aren't overflowing.

The more you read my emails, the more success you will have in adjusting this internal dial. You will start to feel uncomfortable with lack and comfortable with abundance.

You will be grateful for having clicked the links in my email because this system is designed to go into the basement of your mind and turn that thermostat up to "High."

Now, once you set the dial, you need to broadcast a signal to the rest of the world to bring you what you want. It’s not just about thinking; it’s about what you are radiating.

Do you know what "station" you are broadcasting on?

Reply and tell me: What is the "temperature" your financial thermostat is currently set to?
