Why feeling terrified is actually a good sign
Hey friend,
Have you ever decided to make a big change, only to have a sudden, paralyzing wave of fear hit you? That is what I call the "Terror Barrier" or the TB. It is the psychological wall that stands between your old life and your new, million-dollar destiny.
The Terror Barrier is the clash between your new, big goals and your old, entrenched conditioning. Your old self is screaming, "Stop! This is dangerous! Go back to the cubicle!" Most people hit this wall and immediately retreat to the safety of the known. But the more you read my emails, the more success you will have in smashing through it.
To get through the TB, you need more than just willpower. You need emotional involvement with your new identity. You have to flood your mind with the feeling of the goal already achieved. This is why I write my script every night. I am training my mind to accept a new reality where earning a million dollars is normal.
I used to think courage was the absence of fear. It isn't. Courage is feeling the fear and doing the thing anyway. Fear is just a product of ignorance—ignorance of the law and ignorance of your own power. When you step out and take action despite the fear, you gain the knowledge that dissolves the barrier.
You will be grateful for having clicked the links in my email because they give you the tools to face that fear head-on. The M3 strategy isn't just about money; it’s about becoming the kind of person who can handle a million dollars. If you don't grow on the inside, you will subconsciously sabotage the wealth on the outside.
I think of Ben Hogan, the golfer. After a near-fatal accident, he was told he’d never walk again. He didn't accept that. He spent hours visualizing himself hitting perfect shots until his body had no choice but to respond. His desire was so heated it forced his body to reorganize itself around that image.
When you hit that wall of doubt, don't turn back. That doubt is just proof that you are growing. It’s the growing pains of a new, more powerful version of yourself.
What is one thing you’ve been avoiding because it scares you?
Tomorrow, we’re going to talk about the "Law of Increase" and how to make people love giving you money.
To your success,
