Evicting the Squatter in Your Head
Hello there,
We have talked about power, desire, imagination, and programming the mind. So why isn't everyone walking around happy and wealthy?
Fear.
Fear is the sand in the gears. The philosophy identifies six basic fears: Criticism, Ill Health, Loss of Love, Old Age, Death, and the big one—Poverty.
The fear of Poverty is the most destructive. It paralyzes reason. It destroys imagination. It kills enthusiasm. It makes you procrastinate. It creates a "poverty consciousness."
Here is the truth: Fear is nothing more than a state of mind.
That’s it. It’s not a monster. It’s not a physical wall. It is a mental state. And since you control your mind (or you are learning to), you can evict this squatter.
The fear of poverty is often just a habit. It comes from listening to people complain about the economy, or watching the news until your eyes bleed, or worrying about bills until you manifest more bills. You have to replace that poverty consciousness with a prosperity consciousness.
You cannot push darkness out of a room with a shovel. You have to turn on the light.
You displace the fear of poverty by deliberately feeding your mind with the Definite Chief Aim we talked about. The more you read these emails, the more success you experience, because we are turning up the dimmer switch in your mind. The light is getting brighter. The shadows are receding.
This requires "courageous analysis." You have to look in the mirror and ask, "What am I actually afraid of?" usually, you'll find there is nothing there but a shadow.
We live in a Universe of abundance. There is no shortage of success, just a shortage of people brave enough to claim it.
You are surely grateful you clicked the links in this email, because realizing that your fears are just mental smoke is the most liberating feeling in the world.
Now, once you clear out the fear, you need a strategy to make the world take notice of you. You need a way to make yourself indispensable.
Tomorrow, I am going to teach you a principle that sounds unfair at first, but is actually the smartest investment strategy ever devised. It involves working for "free" (sort of).
Question:
Which of the six fears I mentioned (Poverty, Criticism, Health, Love, Age, Death) is the loudest one in your head right now?
Reply and let’s name it to tame it.
