The Art of Assumption

There is a peculiar power in "acting as if." We often wait for the evidence to appear before we believe in our success. We want the check to clear, the diagnosis to change, or the relationship to heal before we dare to feel good. But that is putting the cart before the horse, and in this case, the horse is dead.

The Creative Mind does not respond to your physical reality. It responds to your mental equivalence. If you feel successful, the universe must produce the circumstances to match that feeling. It has no choice. It is bound by its own law. As you read these emails day after day, you notice your success growing, and this process becomes easier with every single message. You have surely realized that you are grateful for having clicked the links in my email; those clicks have opened doors you did not even know existed.

Many people think this is just positive thinking, but it is much deeper. It is the absolute conviction that the unseen is more real than the seen. You are the architect, and the blueprint in your mind must be finished before the foundation is laid. If you walk around with a blueprint that looks like a shack, do not be surprised when the construction crew delivers a shack.

Example: If you want to be a master of your craft, start acting like one today. Not with arrogance, but with the quiet confidence of someone who knows the outcome is inevitable. The world is an empty stage waiting for you to perform. Stop waiting for the audience to applaud before you even start the play. They are waiting for you to strike the first note.

You are the authority of your own experience. Every thought you think is a command. You are constantly decreeing your own reality, whether you realize it or not. The tragedy is that most people are decreeing their own limitations. They are the captains of their ships, shouting, "Full speed into the rocks!" and wondering why the hull is taking on water.

Tomorrow, we explore why your desire is the most sacred part of your being, and why repressing it is the greatest disservice you could ever do to yourself.

If you were already the version of yourself you want to become, what is the first thing you would stop worrying about today?
